For every Syracuse University game, theres a standard flow from image collection to content production.
For the graphic design jobs, I collect images from a SIM card from the photographers. I look through those photos a pick the best ones. From there we edit them on Adobe Photoshop using a template with masks and a camera raw filter. Then, we export those edited images to a folder on Microsoft teams where the social team can pick images ready to post.
For first quarter, halftime, third quarter and final graphics, we use templates like this one for quick and easy production. I change the team, mascot, score and image before exporting and uploading it to a Teams file for the social team to post.
For away games, such as this men's games, workflow looks a little different. Less photographers are there for travel games versus home games, so pictures can sometimes be "slim pickings". I look for images in Teams and picked out an intriguing and fitting image for the story of the game thusfar.
Below are examples of the three end of quarter graphics with images that fit the tone from trailing behind, to catching up, to fighting for a comeback.
